Lewis County Adventist School
8:30am - April 21, 2010------
This reporter went to the school this morning to join in prayer for LCAS.  It was not exactly what I expected.  However, I don't know what I expected.  We met in the principal's office. (I spent a lot of time there when I was in grade school).  We prayed, and sang together for a short time.  We then gathered at the door of each  classroom, beginning with the music room at the north end of the building.

We prayed individually for the students and the teacher, Mr Cromwell.  We then moved to Mrs Meador's room.  Then Mr Sample's room.  The office.  Mrs Cook's room , and finally Mr Baker's room.  At each door there was a different emphasis.  Sometimes individual student's names were prayed for.  At others their studies, their goals and aspirations, but always,  we wanted every one of them to develop a personal relationship with their Savior Jesus Christ.  We prayed that they become leaders in their church.

We sang another song of praise and thanksgiving and headed out to our daily tasks.  I looked at my watch and it wasn't even 9:00am.  What a wonderful way to start the day.

Thank you Sue and Helmuth Fritz for organizing this prayer group.

If you would like to join this group, whether you are a member of Chehalis, Centralia, Winlock, Onalaska, Morton, Castle Rock, Kelso, Olympia, or a member of none, the invitation OPEN.

Come, experience praying for the future - OUR Children - OUR Responsibility

God still leads - especially if we will listen and respond to His calling.
